In this introductory blog post, I share the heartfelt journey that led to the creation of Kats & Roses. As a widow and mother of two LGBTQ kids, I turned to art and design to fill the financial void left by my husband's passing. I recount the emotional moment of inspiration behind the name Kats & Roses, combining my name and favorite color, while listening to "Welcome to the Jungle" during a difficult night. This post highlights my commitment to bold and spicy designs, size inclusivity, and creating a safe space for the queer community. I also emphasize my dedication to keeping prices affordable so that everyone can enjoy my unique digital art and apparel.
